Some Birthday Gifts

I celebrated my birthday earlier this month and was blessed with many best wishes and gifts from my co-workers and family.
Today I am sharing a few of the gifts that I placed on the dresser in our living room.

One of the gifts is this cactus arrangement. I love the layers of sand and rocks.

My co-worker and friend of almost 25 years gave me a gift certificate for my favourite country gift store, along with a cute canoe paddle key hook. I picked out this scented candle. Maple Cream -yum.

I am enjoying the scent and view from my favourite end of the sofa in the living room while I crochet.

Another co-worker gave me this Madonna and Child magnetic bookmark and a lovely bracelet. I really enjoyed celebrating my 48th birthday this year. The number really doesn't bother me because I feel much younger on the inside. And I'm enjoying some beautiful sunshine and warm (18C) weather this weekend. Life is good!

  7. Happy Birthday!!! (belated!)

I love your little touches - especially the rosaries. I have my grandparents' rosaries displayed in my bedroom - they're from the 1800s, I love them!

    Enjoy your day!
